Default blessed grif/ettin build? help!

Sup guys i need some help on my build to solo farm blessed griffons, and ettins..

Im a W/E

Currently im soloing: Desert griffons, avicara, trolls, hydras and Ice imps
So i thought hey im doing good! so i tried taking on ettins with no luck at all..
I stay up but so do they, they always keep healing and i dont do enough dmg to take them down!
(To defencive?)

Blessed griffons are a pain to, i can just barely solo just ONE griffon!
I can take the first few punches easy, but at one moment they start packing to much dmg my healing cant get track on!
(To offencive???)

This is my current build: (note i Do change once in a while, but i didnt find the right one for these yet!)

Tactics:11
Str:9
Swordsmanship:9
Earth magic: 10
(something in that line)

Skill list:
- Flurry
- Dolyak signet
- healing signet
- armour of earth
- bonetis defence
- Reposte
- 100 blades

Armor:
Full glads armor, Knights gloves, Lieutenants helm( +1 STr, -60% hex time)
Major absorb rune
Major Vigor rune
Minor swordsmanship

You realize Ettins are level 15? You don't even need all that armor for Ettins. Plus your Sword Mastery is TOO LOW.

I do not have a complete build as of yet, but I am very surprised that I dont see more tacticts and therefore stances involved in these farming builds. I personally love just throwing on Glad's Stance (elite) and watching the ettin's die...while adding additional damage with my sword skills. I also bring along mending, healing breeze, and heal sig. Bonetti's defense and defensive stance also help out with when glad's stance is refilling. Obviously all of these stances would not be necessary when farming ettins, but I used it for farming zealots, and it worked well for them, so obviously this should work for ettins as well. Once again this is based entirely on memory and what I think was there, so I am not sure, and of course the skills in this build still need revisions.

Idea behind farming ettins is doing as much damage as quickly as you can. If your gonna use the sword then something like. Hundred Blades (to build up adrenaline), sever artery, gash, galrath slash, final thrust (when under 50% health). But to be honest with you I like using the axe better against ettins. You can use cyclone axe to build your adrenaline, then use eviscerate + executioners blade to deal alot of damage. I also bring disrupting chop to make sure they don't Heal sig...but its not really neccesary. If you're a level 20...you shouldn't have any problems killing ettins.

You also want to have your weapon skill attribute maxed out. I have a helment for each sword, axe, hammer, and strength builds. Each w/ a superior rune. That way you can switch em out.

Ok first these lvl 15 ettins are not easy with 3 on u it will be hard to deal out damage and heal with ur build as the usally do endure then heal sig followed by irreistable blow. For me im using a W/mo with i think 14 into sword and 10 in healing and dump the rest into str for shield. Skills

~Skills~
sever artery

gash

final thrust

healling breeze

healing hands elite

disrupt(can't remeber the name but it just distrups lol)

Sprint

Flurry.

Ok sprint is just to get by the first groups of monsters. Generally i go by using flurry for my adranaline then use sever artery as some as it is rdy the garth slash. At this time the usally start endure plus heal sig i just disrupt and final thrust. at this time they are dead or 1-2 hits from death. My hp is also at around 80-150. Now i use healling hands and healling breeze and continue with the next one the same way. Side note i have never faced more than 3 at one and i have done this over 100 times so u should be alright.

if u lacking in the cash to re mod u build or dun want new skills. One get a disrupt skill, 2 get a healing skill that heals alot at once and can be use like every 0-5 sec i mean over +50 atleast or get one that heal good amount constanlty. 3. be able to deal alot of damage really fast or be able to take a lot of enemy damage over time. All i got for now just e-mail me for tips if message in game. I have been farming these guys for a LONG time. This is the fastest build:
sever artery
disrupting blow
savage slash
dolyak signet
bonetti's defense
sprint
live vicariously
mending

exit out of LA, cast mending. run past imps and tengu. re-cast mending if it was removed, wait for 20 energy, cast live vicariously, aggro 1 or 2 groups of ettin.
attack normaly then sever artery, disrupt first healnig signet, keeping attacking normaly, disrupt second healing signet, hit dolyaks then bonetti's, first ettin dies and you have 20 energy. repeat for all ettin.

exit to nebo terrace thru the ascalon settlement, rezone, kill ettin, rezone at scoundrels rise, kill ettin, rezone at nebo terrace, kill ettin, etc, etc... until inventory is full... hope it helps

i know SOMEBODY will pose this question:
"why not bring gladiators defense?!"
easy, because you cant disrupt all the healing signets around you so bringing extra dmg to all adjacent foes is stupid and a waste of a slot when all they do is heal themselves anyways.

i been farming ettins for a long time is this is what i want to say ,

if your going sword then final thrust is a must , interruption is not as important.

if your going axe , disrupting chop is your god , it shutdowns a ettin healing instantly.

axe and sword ettin builds (below)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
zealous axe of defence

16 axe
11 healing
rest on strength

aegis req 9
+44 health (enchanted)
-2 dmg (enchanted)
(pretty much malions sheild)

15-22
1/-1 zealous
+15% (in enchanted)
+5 armor
+20% dmg

flurry (charge up all attacks then do them in the order for possible dmg spike to kill)
disrupting chop (on healing sigit)
evicarate
pentrating blow
executioners strike
vigerous spirit
live viocously
sprint
------------------------------------------------------------------------
and the sword one

16 sword
8 healing
rest on tactics

aegis req 9
+44 health (enchanted)
-2 dmg (enchanted)
(pretty much malions sheild)

15-22
1/-1 zealous
+15% (in enchanted)
+5 armor
+20% dmg

flurry
server artery
gash (continued by Vim)
galrath sash (done on healing sigit for higher dmg)
final thrust (done on healing sigit when thier health about 30% or less)
victory is mine (elite)
mending
sprint
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
both are my best.

and as for girffon build:

6-28(req 11)
3/-1 vamp
+15% (in enchanted)
+5 armor
+20% dmg

aegis req 9
+44 health (enchanted)
-2 dmg (enchanted)
(pretty much malions sheild)

8 healing
15 axe (+1+3)
14 tacitcs (+3)

cyclone axe
Bonetties Defence
watchyourself
executioners strike
gladiators defence
vigerous spirit
live vicously
mending
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

here's the strider tip of the day:
when you see a griffon begin to cast symbol of wrath, interrupt it. or better yet, move.

I use a 15% enchanted axe with zealous haft and axe mastery +1 grip

skills
mending
healing breeze
sprint
endure pain (or anything else never gets used)
flurry
executioners strike
axe twist
eviscerate

pretty simple really, as long as you have your axe mastery above 11 you can out dmg their healing thus negating the need to mess around with disrupting chop

my stats

axe mastery 11+1
healing prayers 8
strength 11+1

another thing against ettins is to not use stances that block, if you do irresistable blow will knock you down and generally p!ss you off.

run into a grp of three hit flurry, charge all adren skills then Evis>Twist>execut rinse and repeat keeping flurry up as much as you can, mending should keep you ok for health but you have endure and breeze as a back up and with the zealous axe you rarely run dry of energy.

i have fow armor which is glads but for the ascalon helm with sup vigor and sup abs.

three ettins are easily despatched with this build and no annoying knock downs.

personally after reading all these posts all the mods are not needed. If you have the mods already then u probley know where to farm and if you don't then this is why ur here. I use a simple fiery sword with 15%+ dmg when hp above 50% and another 20% cause i custamized it. My armor is very basic and can be used anywhere it's just forge platemail. I got +1 str on my helm and a sup sword mastery, and minor str. in my build i don't use any tactic cause i find it to be a waste of time when i can just cast healing hands in 1/4 of a second. and thats about it.
